MRI

About the product
Magnetic Resonance Imaging allows you to see through the bones and build a clear image of the soft tissue. The MRI does not use X-rays and the images are extremely accurate. Health professionals can often observe as much information with this method as if they were observing the tissue directly. For this reason, the MRI exam has the potential to reduce the need for certain surgical operations. The average time for this study ranges from 15 to 30 minutes, but some studies may require more time. This study does not cause pain or side effects.

Open-type MRI machines take much longer compared to conventional type because their magnetic field is less powerful and their gradients tend to be less powerful. This also applies to open-type "stand-up" MRI that currently has a magnetic field of only 0.5 Tesla. The closed MRI, having a high power magnetic field achieves sequences with a better resolution and in less time.
