CT

About the product
Computed tomography is a diagnostic procedure that uses a special x-ray machine to create transverse and three-dimensional images of the body. Our CT has the ability to regulate the dose of x-rays compared to other CT machines. The equipment we use has integrated protocols that adjust the dose of x-rays based on the patient's age and weight. During the CT procedure, the patient remains motionless on a table, and it slowly passes through the center of an x-ray machine.

CT studies are performed on all parts of the body: chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, neck, paranasal sinuses, temporal bone and ear; including brain and limbs, among others.

Our CT unit is spiral type, with multi-detector capability. This high-tech system has the advantage of providing finer cuts for higher resolution, which allows a more accurate diagnosis of the area to be studied.

The benefits of multidetector technology is that it uses less radiation and allows clearer three-dimensional reconstructions.
