Our client, an International Non-For Profit Organization is hiring their Financial Officer in Puerto Rico. This Organization provides Federal Funding and Resources to provide a comprehensive infrastructure recovery efforts for our beloved Island. The role of the Financial Officer is to manage and coordinate Funds to support the reconstruction for these infrastructure recovery efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Track financial Progress and ensure compliance with Federal funding
- Financial control of the Programs
- Responsible for developing and monitoring the Financial Architecture of the Recovery Programs and Fundings.
- Reporting and compliance documentation to ensure timely payments for the different contractors.
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Budget consolidations
- Cash flow management
- Keep control of actual expenses vs budget and timely reporting
- Keep cost controls and adequate financial reporting of the Capital projects
- Financial compliance with federal requirements
- 7 plus years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in financial planning , budgeting , cost control and forecasting
- Previous experience working in a construction Firm or managing Capital projects nice to have
- Previous experience in auditing nice to have
- Previous experience with federal regulations for grants compliance nice to have
- High proficiency in the use of Excel, Peachtree and Power Point
- Fully Bilingual
Compensation: Commensurate to candidate experience plus fringe benefits package
