The Human Resources Talent Acquisition Director plays a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by attracting, engaging, and retaining top-tier talent. By optimizing recruitment processes and adapting to evolving organizational needs, the Talent Acquisition Director fosters a dynamic approach to hiring that propels business success. Beyond recruitment, this role is instrumental in shaping the company’s employer brand, enhancing its reputation as a top employer, and implementing retention initiatives that cultivate long-term employee engagement. Leading the Talent Acquisition team with an inspiring and collaborative style, the Director promotes a culture of respect, energy, and innovation while delivering measurable results in talent acquisition.
Responsibilities :
- Develops and leads effective talent sourcing strategies.
- Ensures recruitment initiatives are aligned with company goals and priorities.
- Oversees the entire candidate journey, from application through interviews and communication.
- Organizes and participates in job fairs and recruitment events to attract candidates and boost company visibility.
- Anticipates hiring needs by analyzing business growth and operational changes.
- Builds and manages partnerships with external stakeholders, including municipalities, government bodies, educational institutions, job boards, and HR software providers.
- Works closely with internal departments such as Marketing, Operations, and Finance to execute the Talent Acquisition strategy.
- Tracks, evaluates, and reports key metrics to measure recruitment performance.
- Oversees the assessment and improvement of talent acquisition processes.
- Prepares and delivers timely, accurate, and comprehensive recruitment reports.
- Creates, updates, and maintains talent acquisition procedures in line with company needs.
- Supervises, mentors, and evaluates the performance of the talent acquisition team.
- Promotes a culture of excellent service and sets clear goals for the team and recruitment function.
- Oversees internship programs and other related talent acquisition initiatives.
- Leads succession planning efforts to ensure a strong pipeline of future leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (required).
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree (preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of substantial experience in talent acquisition.
- At least 10 years of proven leadership experience.
- Strong background in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition responsibilities and best practices.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Solid understanding of applicable laws and regulations affecting talent acquisition processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Competence in managing core human resources systems.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
