  • Lead the project management group that will facilitate the coordination and management of projects across the Americas
  • Manages the Project Management Office (PMO)
  • AMO Project Portfolio Management
  • Leads all aspects of project management
  • Leads the introduction of new equipment, technology, processes.
  • Forecasts and manages department operating costs and capital expenditures.
  • Develop and maintain Master project plans for AMO
  • Advises upper management of new developments that may affect profit, schedule, costs, customer relations, and/or inter-departmental relations.
  • Analyzes technology trends, human resources need and market demands to plan projects.
  • Project Reporting for The Americas
  • Prepares and maintains projects implementation time tables.
  • Validation activities such as; protocols, execution and report deviation
  • Project resource management
  • Formalize a common Project Management Framework
  • Develop and maintain project monitoring document like project dashboards and four blockers
  • Financial/Capex Management
  • AMO Strategic planning support
  • Project Prioritization aligned with AMO strategic process
Requirements
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Strong technical writing skills, oral & written communication skills
  • Knowledge of QSR regulation
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Personal Computer knowledge (MS Office suite)
  • Safety Regulation knowledge (OSHA)
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Must be able to give clear direction, communicate expectations, and provide feedback and performance evaluation to all levels of personnel.
  • Bachelor degree in science, or engineering. Graduate degree in engineering or project management preferred.
  • PMI certification preferred.
  • At least ten years of relevant industrial experience.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industries, preferred.
  • Experience in supervising technical personnel.
  • Expertise in project management a most.
  • Experience in R&D, process development, and /or product development
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Prior experience in Lean Six Sigma; certification preferred.
