Empleos Senior Grants Analyst

Our client is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to spearhead the accounting and financial analysis for grants and the FEMA reimbursement processes. This role will involve working closely with finance and engineering/capital projects departments to ensure precise financial transactions and reporting, and facilitate strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities :

• Full understanding of FEMA’s recovery rules and align those with execution processes and financial transaction understanding.
• Manage the accounting and financial analysis efforts to support the grants reimbursement processes.
• Develop and manage accounting and financial transactions and analyze performance related to grants and capital projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze financial data for budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare and present executive-level reports to communicate grants financial findings and insights to leadership.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and grant-related reporting.
• Perform variance analysis to assess the impact of business decisions on financial outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• MBA, CPA, or CFA is preferred.
• Over 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, with a strong background in grants management & FEMA, processes.
• Advanced skills in data analysis and Microsoft Excel.
• Bilingual proficiency is required.
