Empleos Chief Risk Officer

Our client in the finance industry is hiring their Chief Risk Officer , reporting directly to the President and the Board of Directors. This position is responsible for the portfolio management, credit policies and collections strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the day-to-day risk management
• Evaluate the Company’s risk tolerance
• Create strategic plans to mitigate risk
• Overall responsibilities over risk management initiatives
• Accountability for the risk management of the Company’s operation to include the integration of risk concepts into strategic planning
• Oversee the credit policies and risk management strategies to minimize bad debts
• Implement effective monitoring systems to identify and address potential risks

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
• MBA preferred
• Previous experience in credit, market trends and financial statements analysis
• Previous experience in portfolio management
• Previous experience in financial analysis and advanced analytical techniques to assess credit models
